Idyll scores another GOLD in the USA
The USA Wine Ratings competition was recently held in Oregon. We are delighted to bring home 10 medals from the USA and couldn’t be prouder of our Idyll crew. This competition has a focus on more than just taste, with judges scoring wines against three key categories.
Quality: All wines are initially tasted blind to assess their quality and how drinkable they are for consumers in their target area.
Value for money: Wines are then assessed to see how much value for money they are offering their target wine drinkers at that price point.
Packaging and design: As the majority of wine is bought with our eyes, the USA Wine Ratings recognises wines that stand out on the shelf, or on a back bar, and will assess how well suited that design or packaging is to the target consumer group and at that price point.
Idyll are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Gold medal for our Arcadian Shiraz. The Arcadian Shiraz is a multi award-winning wine, having collected Double Gold in London and Gold in San Francisco previously. In addition to our Gold medal, we also collected six silver medals and three bronze medals. The full list of award-winning wines is below:
