Celebrating World Environment Day with IDL: A Green Initiative

On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, IDL proudly celebrated World Environment Day with a special team luncheon, marking our commitment to environmental sustainability and community support. In collaboration with Fifteen Trees, a dedicated Australian organization, we embarked on a meaningful initiative to contribute positively to our planet.

About Fifteen Trees

Fifteen Trees, based in the Central Highlands of Victoria, has been championing reforestation efforts since 2009. Despite being a small team of just three, their impact is substantial, thanks to their network of independent native nurseries and partnerships with various community groups such as Landcare, school groups, and environmental networks across Australia. Their work focuses on planting native trees to restore and enhance Australia's natural landscapes.

Our Contribution

As part of our World Environment Day celebration, IDL organized a team luncheon to raise funds for this vital cause. Thanks to the generosity of our team and the support of Fifteen Trees, we are thrilled to announce that eighty native trees have been planted in the Brisbane Ranges, Victoria. This effort was executed by one of Fifteen Trees' Landcare groups, contributing to the restoration of local ecosystems and promoting biodiversity.
