Vintage 2022:
Our Cellar, Laboratory and Winemaking team completed another successful Vintage period, crushing 7,514 tonnes of grapes in just over 2 months. The crew are busy creating some top quality wines from these 7,514 tonnes of red and white grapes. These wines will be sold both domestically and internationally.
New Cider Label:
In March we packaged our brand new cider label for the first time. Meadowlark is a range of ciders that capture the essence of summer, and those good times shared with friends. ‘Cider to enjoy – cider to share’ is the motto of this brand. Produced and packaged in our Moorabool Valley (Geelong) facility and available to purchase nationwide at your local Dan Murphy’s and BWS.
Cellar Door Sale:
We hosted our second Saturday Cellar Door Sale where our Arcadian range was 50% off. It was a busy day where the Geelong community came out in force to support our locally owned and operated winery. We look forward to our next annual sale.
Team Day:
In mid April we also held our first ever team day which allowed employees from across departments to spend the morning or afternoon engaging with one another. Full of games, snacks and all round good times, we are already planning our next team day!
In late June we held our second team day which was a company wide site tour, explaining to all staff the various departments at Idyll and demonstrating some of the work that each area does. You can read more about our second team day here.
It’s been a busy 6 months at Idyll and we can’t wait to back it up for the second half of the year. Stay up to date with our latest adventures via our Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn channels.
