Idyll Wine Co's Response to Victorian State of Emergency and COVID-19

To our Community,

Considering the current Victorian State of Emergency in response to COVID-19, we wanted to share the Idyll Wine Co. action plan to maintain business operations to their usual standard of excellence during this time.

The safety of our community including staff, contractors, customers, partners and consumers remains our number one priority. We have put several measures in place to ensure the health and welfare of our community, while continuing to operate our business as usual.

We do not anticipate any disruption to supply. We have conducted a review across our supplier base and entire supply chain to confirm that there is no risk to ongoing supply into our facilities. All of our facilities, including our winery, remain fully operational. We are currently focused on finalising our 2020 vintage and fulfilling all customer orders across wine, sparkling, cider, ginger beer, non-alcoholic and ready-to-drink categories.

Adhering to expert advice, we have also enacted our contingency plans to minimise face-to-face contact as much as possible for the time being. The following actions have been implemented.

·       Meetings will be conducted virtually wherever possible.

·       Staff are working from home wherever possible.

·       Winery and production staff have been placed on rotating rosters to minimise headcount on any one shift

·       Additional cleaning shifts and hygiene measures have been implemented across all areas of the business.

·       Our Cellar Door is temporarily closed until further notice.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and maintain proactive and transparent communications should there be any further developments or additional action undertaken.
